Dacic meets with World Bank representative

Ivica Dacic on Monday met with a World Bank official to discuss the institution's projects in Serbia, the government has announced.

The first Deputy PM and foreign minister and World Bank Director for the Western Balkans, Europe and Central Asia Linda Van Gelder emphasized "a project based on the implementation of the priorities of the government of Serbia," an MFA statement said.

"Special attention was paid to activities within the first ministerial group within the project – connecting Serbia with Europe and the world," it said, noting that Dacic is a member of this group.

During the meeting in Belgrade, Dacic and Van Gelder also discussed "public sector reform, regional integration and the EU accession process and the modalities of cooperation that the World Bank can offer in these areas."


"Serbia is too important to remain neutral"
