Assembly president reiterates Serbia's neutrality

According to Beta, she said the results of the election in Kosovo and Metohija represent "a challenge for the Belgrade-Pristina negotiations process" and that there would be insistence on the implementation of the agreed solutions, such as the formation of the Community of Serb Municipalities.

Alli said that "Europe won't be whole without the integration of the Western Balkans," and added that Serbia has made "significant progress" in recent years in the area of economy and finance.

He said cooperation between the Serbian Assembly and the NATO PA was significant, and that the organization was paying attention to the Western Balkans, bearing in mind that its stability was important for stability of Europe, with Serbia as a key country in this regard.

This cooperation is also important because of the joint challenges of terrorism, the migrant crisis, "cyber" security, and many others, he said.

Alli is in Serbia as part of a visit by members of the NATO PA Sub-Committee on Transition and Development of the Economics and Security Committee, who are working on a report on economic transition in the Western Balkans.
