Investments announced in Serbia's northern province
Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic met on Friday with President of the Vojvodina Provicncial Assembly and Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians leader Istvan Pasztor.Source: B92
The government announced this, noting that they discussed "the launching of a tender procedure for finding investors for the construction of hotels and a spa center at Lake Palic and about significant investments in Becej and Indjija."
Vucic "accepted Pasztor's proposal to be one of the sponsors of the ceremony marking the 320th anniversary of the Battle of Senta," a statement said.
The Serbian government will help create conditions for celebration of the anniversary by taking part in the financing of reconstruction of the city square in Senta, it was also announced.
Vucic and Pasztor further "discussed the problem of public heating in Senta and the opening of secondary school classes with instruction in the Hungarian language."
