Vucic hints at not remaining prime minister for long
Aleksandar Vucic has hinted, during his news conference with <a href="http://www.b92.net/eng/news/politics.php?yyyy=2017&mm=02&dd=17&nav_id=100540" class="text-link" target= "_blank">the visiting Austrian chancellor</a>, that he would not remain at the helm of the government for long.

Vucic explained that the paper contained "guidelines with ideas for the Western Balkans for those who will soon replace me," noting that he consulted with the head of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia-Herzegovina and with the Albanian prime minister on the text."That is my proposal, as the head of the Serbian government, a road that I hope those who will soon come after me will continue along. That is my idea for the Western Balkans," he said.
The idea is aimed at "bringing our territories closer together" and facilitating the flow of goods, Vucic said.
Tanjug said that the paper in question contained Vucic's propsal to establish a free trade market and a customs union in the Western Balkan region.
The ruling SNS party's main committee should meet on Friday and is expected to confirm Vucic as its candidate in the presidential elections.
Asked whether he would attend the meeting, Vucuc, who is the party's leader, said he would deal with these issues "once he has seen the Austrian chancellor off."
Reporters then asked for his comment on the possibility of President Tomislav Nikolic launching his reelection bid.
Vucic said he "does not wish to comment on daily political issues" and would always be ready to cooperate with Nikolic, "no matter what he does, and when he does it."
