Assembly committee approves bill to scrap visas with China

The Serbian National Assembly's Committee on Foreign Affairs has approved a draft law to confirm a visa abolishing agreement between Serbia and China.

The agreement aims to scrap visas for holders of ordinary passports.

The committee passed the draft with eight votes in favor, while four members did not vote.

The draft is on the agenda of the current session of the Assembly, that started on Monday.

The legislation allows Serbian and Chinese citizens who hold ordinary passport to enter, exit, or transit the other country for a period of up to 30 days.
