The Council for Traffic Safety has declared a new traffic light operational on the corner of Olge Miliutinovic and Kradjordjeva streets in Kraljevo.

Mayor of Serbian town attends ceremony for new traffic light

A group of citizens calling themselves the Local Front posted pictures from the ceremony on Twitter.

One tweet shows the city officials in attendance: A second shows Local Front activists applauding the new traffic light: Reacting to the news, New Belgrade Mayor Aleksandar Sapic also took to Twitter.

"This is not something Kraljevo has invented, Kraljevo can't have all the glory. Belgrade was the first to be opening traffic lights, I want that included in the minutes," Sapic wrote.
