It’s neither moral nor normal to impose sanctions on the RS

Serbian Prime Minister said that it would not be morally right to propose the introduction of any sanctions against the leadership of the Republic of Srpska.

When asked by reporters in connection with the US and EU’s announcement about introducing sanctions against the President of RS Milorad Dodik, Aleksandar Vučić responded that no measures have been taken yet by neither Washington nor Brussels.

“If they do take any measures we will consider our steps. Since the government conducts domestic and foreign policies in accordance with the Constitution, as Prime Minister I do not think it would be either moral or normal for me to propose the introduction of any sanctions against the leadership of the Republic of Srpska or its President,” explained Vučić.

At the same time, he said that he is prepared to bear all the consequences that such a decision would cause.
