Vucic wants EU to "react strongly" to Croatia's behavior

According to this, at the meeting, U.S. Ambassador Kyle Scott and EU Delegation head Michael Davenport "supported the policy pursued by the government of Serbia in the dispute with Croatia," and "pointed out it is wise that Serbia is not responding to provocation," urging at the same time that "this tactic continues."

According to the paper, Vucic criticized the EU's lack of reaction after the incidents that have recently taken place in Croatia.

"We will continue to be silent, we will be wise and will not fall for provocations, but we are looking for a clear reaction from the European Union. It is not right for you as the EU are giving Serbia guidelines on what to do and how to behave, while in your own ranks you have a member (Croatia) that, even after more serious incidents, is censured by nobody," Vucic said, according to the report.

After Vucic addressed the meeting, Scott was the first to speak, and he "commended Serbia's European integration and everything Serbia was doing in this respect." He said the reaction of the country's authorities was "normal" and that was has been happening in the past days was "not good."

According to the daily, Davenport spoke next.

"The lack of leadership in some countries of the region is a major problem and the reason for confrontation. When there is no policy, then attacks come," said Davenport, "referring to Croatia."

The article also said that Turkish and Canadian ambassadors spoke next, as did the German charge d'affaires, the French ambassador, and Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic.
