Serbians advised against traveling to Turkey

Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic has advised Serbian citizens against traveling to Turkey, after a state of emergency was declared in that country.

Serbians advised against traveling to Turkey

Now the situation is somewhat calmer, Dacic continued, but a state of emergency introduced in that country means that police curfews and bans on public assembly are possible.

"We still do not recommend to our citizens to go to Turkey, but if they decide to go anyway, safety precautions are necessary. They should avoid public places, carry their passports with them at all times, and if necessary, contact our consulate for any kind of assistance," Dacic said.
