U.S. state secretary's visit "to give additional impetus"

The Serbian prime minister said that "partnership with the U.S. is greatly significant for Serbia."

"Relations between the two countries have already improved significantly following Prime Minister Vucic's visits to Washington earlier this year," a statement said.

Kirby said that his country "sees Serbia and Vucic's government as a partner it can rely on."

He added that "the good economic results of the reforms implemented so far are boosting the interest among U.S. companies in investing in Serbia."
