Parl't rejects proposal for inquiry committee on wiretapping

Last week, the DS stated that it would send the proposal for the formation of an inquiry committee to the parliament for consideration, with a view to determining the facts in relation to the alleged wiretapping and the publication of the transcript of the phone conversation between DS leader and president of Vojvodina's executive council Bojan Pajtic and Lidija Udovicki, during which she had accused the director of a public enterprise of corruption.

The DS said that the aim of the committee would be to offer an answer to the question as to who taped Pajtic, and on whose order.
