Belgrade denies "recognizing Kosovo" with text of agreement

The Serbian Government's Office for Kosovo and Metohija has denied the claim made by the Kosovo minister for dialogue that Belgrade "recognized Kosovo."

Belgrade denies "recognizing Kosovo" with text of agreement

In a statement for Beta, the Office said that "those on the losing end have a right to be angry, but not to make things up."

"Integral texts of all agreements from Brussels can be seen at Office's internet page in both Serbian and English," the statement said.

In 2008 ethnic Albanians in the southern Serbian province unilaterally declared independence. Serbia considers the proclamation to be a violation of its Constitution and territorial integrity.

The EU-sponsored Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, held in Brussels, started in 2011.
