"Condemnation by top state officials of Informer's 'reporting' - which TV Pink has now joined acting according to an already seen model - would represent a clear message that the state finds this sort of campaign, that is raising tensions in society and creating an atmosphere threatening to turn into violence toward people who hold different opinions, unacceptable," a DS statement said on Friday.

The party added that unless cabinet members condemned this "campaign" it would mean they were "in fact supporting what Informer is doing."

The DS addressed its request to Vucic and minister Nebojsa Stefanovic, Ivan Tasovac, and Kori Udovicki.

Pajtic has recently been criticized by the tabloid for spending his summer vacation in Croatia, which coincided with the 20th anniversary of Operation Storm - Croatia's military campaign that resulted in over 2,000 Serbs killed or disappeared, and more than 200,000 expelled.
