British prime minister commends Vucic on leadership

Cameron's letter was delivered to Vucic by British Ambassador to Serbia Denis Keefe, the Serbian government said, adding that "the British PM welcomed the efforts which Prime Minister Vucic is investing in improvement of relations in the Western Balkans and underscored his role in the dialogue with Pristina and his brave and correct decision to take part in the commemoration in Srebrenica since Great Britain supports the policy of reconciliation and stability in the region."

In the talks with Keefe, Vucic "expressed gratitude for the letter and said that the reforms implemented by Prime Minister Cameron to increase employment in Britain's private sector can serve as a role model for Serbia, which is why he is counting on practical assistance of British experts."

Keefe said that "a new fund and support program initiated by Great Britain would be realized in cooperation with the Serbian government so as to define the areas in which British experience can contribute to progress of the country most."
