Nevertheless, the Bureau retains the right to ban the parade should it be assessed over the next few days that the safety of citizens would be in jeopardy.

Stefanovic called on the citizens to preserve the constitutional order, peace and stability. "Let no one vandalize our city, our country, let no one attack the law enforcement officers, because they are here to uphold the law and protect the right of all of us to live free", he said

The session of the Bureau, which was attended by officials of all security services and the public prosecutor for organized crime, was dedicated to several topics, Stefanovic told reporters at the government.

The key topics were the security situation in Raska and Sandzak, and the risk assessment for the Pride Parade.

"Serbia and all its security services will invest every effort to preserve the peace, constitutional order and safety of all citizens in the territory of all municipalities, including the six municipalities in Sandzak," said Stefanovic, specifying that he is referring to three municipalities with Bosniak and three with Serb majority.

This task will be performed by mixed groups comprised of representatives of all structures, relevant ministries and security agencies, he said.

"Our job is to preserve peace and stability in the region, despite all challenges," stressed Stefanovic.
