"Serbia will sign agreements on energy, telecommunications, everything that will make life easier for citizens in Kosovo. No interstate agreement will be signed, that is spin meant to raise the rating of Hashim Thaci," said Mihajlović.Asked how important it was for the citizens in Kosovo whether administrative line crossings are built from "prefab or solid materials" - the subject of an agreement reached in Brussels on Thursday - this official responded by saying it was once again a case of "political coloring" done by Priština.
The agreement reached in Brussels will allow for an increase in the number of integrated administrative crossings, and also stipulates what the checkpoints on the crossings will look like.
"That's already become customary, that the talks in Brussels are interpreted differently in Priština. Those were technical talks, and I understand that Priština is adding political color, but there is no reason for it," said Mihajlović.
On Friday, a Serbian delegation headed by Director of the Office of Kosovo and Metohija Marko Đurić will hold informal consultations in Brussels with representatives of the Department for External Relations of the European Commission on Chapter 35 of the accession negotiations.
The office said that the situation regarding Chapter 35 will be clearer after commitments in the field of telecommunications and energy have been fulfilled, as well as the drafting the statute of the future community of Serb municipalities.
Mihajlović said that it was Serbia's interest to open and conclude as soon as possible Chapter 35, which refers to normalization of relations with Kosovo.
