Ivica Dačić met with German palriament (Bundestag) member Josip Juratovic and called for strengthening parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.

Dačić meets with German parliament member

According to the release, Dačić said he expected that the policies pursued by the Serbian government in the negotiating process with the EU and in the process of normalizing relations with Pristina would be met with more understanding and support by German Bundestag members in the future.

Juratovic is a member of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SDP), member of the Bundestag Committee on Foreign Affairs and deputy chair of the Parliamentary Friendship Group South Eastern Europe.

Juratovic said he had come to Belgrade with a desire to become acquainted with the reforms undertaken by the Serbian government, developments in the EU membership negotiating process, process of normalizing relations with Priština and Serbian views about the development of relations in the region.

Juratovic said he would inform his fellow Bundestag members about the talks after returning to Berlin, adding that, as Bundestag member, he wanted to personally contribute to the stabilization of the region and its integration into the EU, the release said.
