Tadić's coalition partners "dissatisfied"

According to this, dissatisfaction with the decision not to reach an agreement with the Progressives (SNS) is present both "in Tadić's closest environment" - and also in the party led by Dušan Petrović, Together for Serbia (ZZS).

The daily quotes an unnamed source who said another coalition member, League of Vojvodina Social-Democrats (LSV) leader Nenad Čanak, has already started independent, informal discussions with the SNS and could make them a "special deal," as it is expected the LSV will "contribute to a rearrangement of power in Vojvodina, or to the holding of early provincial elections."

Čanak was also mentioned as new parliament speaker, writes the newspaper, and notes that he said the position had not been offered to him, but that he was "ready to help if needed."

Many of Tadić's comrades were not even consulted before the decision was made that his New Democratic Party (NDS) would assume the role of "constructive opposition," nor do they understand the hard-line condition not to join in a government along with Ivica Dačić's Socialists (SPS).

"Dissatisfaction is especially present among the 'defectors' from the DS, who expected that after the election, the NDS would much sooner start their separation from the Greens, constitution of party bodies, and distribution of positions," writes the daily.
