Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić has denied that the government coalition is considering rotating his and Prime Minister Ivica Dačić's offices.

BELGRADE Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic has denied that the government coalition is considering rotating his and Prime Minister Ivica Dacic's offices. Vucic is also the leader of the Serb Progressives (SNS), while Dacic heads the Socialists (SPS). Vucic: No rotation of prime ministers "Never has a position, my ego or vanity been the reason for my political action, nor will that ever be. That is all I have to say," Vucic said. He spoke for the daily newspaper Danas, asked whether he would accept the office of the prime minister if Dacic offered it through another cabinet reshuffle. "This practically negates the claims by some media that the government coalition was considering a rotation of positions in the government instead of calling a new election, " the daily concluded.
