BELGRADE Parliament Speaker Nebojsa Stefanovic has said that he "does not know who in the government is working against the interests of the state." But the high ranking official of the ruling SNS party told the weekly NIN that "this person must be dismissed." "Kosovo can have small chair in UN corridors" "We need to find out as soon possible who it is and immediately convene a session where this person will be dismissed," Stefanovic said. His comments concern the recent accusations made by another SNS official, Minister Zorana Mihajlovic. Stefanovic added that there were "no conflicts between ministers in the government," and that "none of them said that the (state) budget was bad," asking "what could be more important for the government that the support for the budget, which shows the economic policies and its strength and unity." Addressing the speculation that a "new Brussels agreement" would follow, focused on "the chair," i.e., membership of Kosovo in the UN, Stefanovic said that the government "would never accept it." "They can have a small chair somewhere in the hall. And when I say 'a small chair' I don't mean figuratively, I mean literally," Stefanovic was quoted as saying. He also said that the most important outcome of the elections in Kosovo would be the formation of the Community of Serb Municipalities, and told the Serbs worried about the financing of institutions that Serbia would, "according to the Brussels agreement, finance part of the education, health and all that it has a right to, but will now finally know where the money goes. " Stefanovic stated that the dilemma of whether Serbia should go "towards Brussels or Moscow" was false, adding that "this will be soon confirmed" when parliament passes a resolution on Serbia's EU accession. "As you have seen, the Brussels agreement was not signed in Moscow, but in Brussels, and it received the support of all of the most important state officials and most MPS," said Stefanovic. Speaking about the upcoming local elections in Belgrade's municipality of Vozdovac, Stefanovic, who is also the chair of the SNS Belgrade board, said that Vozdovac would not be a test based on which it will be decided whether to go to early parliamentary elections - "but it will be a good indicator of the mood of the residents of Belgrade."
