NEW YORK Ivica Dacic has said that he and Russia's UN ambassador Vitaly Churkin agreed on "coordinated efforts in the UN regarding issues of mutual interest." The Serbian prime minister spoke in New York on Tuesday, ahead of a UN Security Council meeting dedicated to Kosovo. "Coordinated efforts in UN agreed with Russia" "The Russian Federation fully supports Serbia's views on Kosovo and those views are reflected in our opposition to UNMIK changing its capacity and in the advocation for UNMIK, KFOR and EULEX to remain in Kosovo as long as possible and to investigate human organ trafficking in full," Dacic stated. The meeting with Churkin was scheduled to prepare for the UN Security Council meeting on Tuesday, Dacic noted, adding he had informed Churkin about the talks between Belgrade and Pristina in Brussels and the issues with it its implementation. "I informed him about the local elections in Kosovo, then about Serbia's view that the talks in Brussels should be neutral in terms of status did not affect the opinion that Kosovo's unilateral declaration of independence should not be recognized," Dacic remarked.
