Deputy PM says "state, government are ill"

LESKOVAC -- Aleksandar Vučić said in Leskovac that Serbia must be changed, "otherwise the country will in a year and a half be threatened by the Argentine scenario."

"We do not have a single the city hall or municipality that operates well, from Subotica to Vranje. Our country is ill, the government is ill, the local governments, public enterprises. We can not in accept sick manners and habits in a sick system," Vučić was quoted as saying.

He was addressing students in the Leskovac Competence Improvement Center..

"If we continue like this in a year to a year and a half we will have the Argentine scenario. In such a scenario I would not wish to participate," he added.

Vučić was in Leskovac on Friday where he was made honorary citizen of that southern town.

Earlier in the day he met with young talents, the best students who received financial support from the town, said the government's Office for Media Relations.
