BELGRADE Independent MP Vuk Jeremic - a former member of the now opposition Democratic Party (DS) - has taken the oath in parliament. Jeremic, Serbia's former foreign minister, until last month served as president of the United Nations General Assembly. Jeremic returns to Serbian parliament He is expected to address reporters in parliament today. The DS earlier this year expelled Jeremic from the party after he refused to resign as MP. The new party leadership had decided to demand that all former cabinet ministers relinquish their parliament seats.
