Killing of EULEX staff member "does not halt dialogue"

BRUSSELS -- Aleksandar Vulin has said that last week's murder of a EULEX staff member in northern Kosovo "will not stop the Belgrade-Priština dialogue.

The same is true of the implementation of the Brussels agreement, the minister without portfolio in charge of Kosovo and Metohija said in Brussels on Thursday.

"The key reason for our coming here was to show that the tragic killing of the EULEX staff member will not stop the process of dialogue on things that are envisaged by the Brussels agreement,” Vulin told Tanjug after a two-day round of the technical dialogue in Brussels.

The minister explained that this round of dialogue was held at the level of working groups about the issues relating to judiciary and police.

“Of course, Serbia stays committed to the Brussels accord and status neutrality of the agreement," Vulin underscored.
