EP rapporteur meeting with Serbian officials

BELGRADE EP rapporteur for Serbia Jelko Kacin is on a three-day visit to Belgrade as the process begins of adopting the EP report on Serbia's progress in EU integration. As announced from his cabinet, Kacin will have separate meetings with Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic, his deputy Aleksandar Vucic, and Minister Without Portfolio in charge of EU integrations Branko Ruzic. Presidential advisor Oliver Antic said that the statement represented "unacceptable interference in the internal affairs of Serbia," and a diplomatic scandal. The provincial board of the opposition DSS party criticized Kacin, and said that his pronouncements meant that Serbia path to the EU "should be paid not only with Kosovo, but also with Vojvodina."
