OSCE: Still no applications from north Kosovo

Political parties from northern Kosovo municipalities have not yet filed any application for the forthcoming local elections.

BELGRADE Political parties from northern Kosovo municipalities have not yet filed any application for the forthcoming local elections. This is according to spokesman for the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Nikola Gaon, who spoke of Wednesday. OSCE: Still no applications from north Kosovo In a statement to Tanjug, Gaon said that the OSCE is preparing for the facilitator's role and tasks, and has secured all necessary expertise, human and other resources. At the request of Belgrade and Pristina, the OSCE has already sent its teams to Nis (southern Serbia) and Podgorica (Montenegro) that will together with mobile teams offer assistance to the internally displaced persons who want to vote via mail, he notes.
