BELGRADE Minister of Finance and Economy Mladjan Dinkic has said that the ongoing government reshuffle "should be wrapped up as soon as possible." This should be done so the government can turn to job creation, the leader of the United Regions of Serbia (URS) said on Monday. Dinkic feels reshuffle fatigue, urges quick resolution Dinkic also stated that his party had done "everything its coalition partners asked" and supported a thorough reshuffle, but that he "has had it with all the talk about the reshuffle" - and believes that "the people and reporters have as well." The government needs to focus on putting Serbia to work, said the minister. "The personnel choices in the division of the Ministry of Finance and Economy were proposed by my coalition partners, I just accepted," Dinkic told reporters in Aleksinac. After a session of the URS Presidency on Sunday, Dinkic said he would agree to his ministry being split into two departments, with him continuing as finance minister and turning over the economy portfolio to "someone from the Serb Progressive Party (SNS)," Tanjug reported.
