Degert hopes for positive opinion on accession talks

BELGRADE Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia Vincent Degert says he expects a decision will be reached on June 28 to open the accession negotiations. Degert also stressed that much progress has been achieved in the negotiations between Ivica Dacic and Hashim Thaci. "Another good indicator of Serbia's progress are strategies that have been adopted recently," said Degert, pointing out that one of them regards the fight against corruption. "All of these are strong arguments that we can place before the member-countries to support the opinion to open the accession negotiations with Serbia," he said.
