BERLIN The final decision of the German parliament on Serbia's EU membership talks date "will depend on the report by EU Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fule." It will also depend "on the result of the visit to Belgrade by German MP Andreas Schockenhoff," Tanjug learned in from the German parliament on Thursday. "Decision depends on reports of EU commissioner, German MP" "At the moment we cannot speculate about the content of the decision which is to be made on June 27. For the Christian Democratic Union/ Christian Social Union (CDU/CSU), it is important to wait for the report of Commissioner Fule and the results of Schockenhoff's mission," Tanjug's source said on the condition of anonymity. All other information coming both from the German and the Serbian media about the Bundestag decision on June 27 are mere speculations and rumors "which probably do not come from the ones who can affect this decision," the source said. "We still do not know anything about that," the source told Tanjug when asked whether Serbia will get a green light on June 28 and start negotiation in 2014. Schockenhoff's visit is announced for the second half of June, and as the news agency learned earlier, the German parliament will make the decision on June 27, one day before the final decision of the heads of state and government of the EU member states.
