Early elections will be held in 2013, DS leader says
Democratic Party (DS) leader Dragan Đilas said in Belgrade's municipality of Zemun on Sunday that early elections would be held in Serbia this year.

BELGRADE Democratic Party (DS) leader Dragan Djilas said in Belgrade's municipality of Zemun on Sunday that early elections would be held in Serbia this year. He added that therefore parties at the local election in Belgrade’s municipality of Zemun should not “deal with high politics”. Early elections will be held in 2013, DS leader says Djilas stressed that they should show who their candidates for municipal president and councilors were. As a part of the election campaign in Zemun, he said that the parties should say what they were offering to the municipality and avoid talking about combat against crime, corruption and tycoons “because it is not a topic for the local election”. “Elections will be held this year in Serbia and the parties will be able to show their great policies. Those who do not want to handle local problems in their municipalities and towns should not be candidates for councilors,” the DS leader stressed.
