BELGRADE Serbian Deputy PM Rasim Ljajic says that technical talks on telecommunication between Belgrade and Pristina would continue on May 30-31. “We will try to harmonize our positions in those two days and reach a final text of the agreement,” he told reporters on Saturday. “Technical talks to continue on May 30” The deputy prime minister reiterated that Serbia could request another country code from the International Telecommunication Union and that it could allow Kosovo to use it temporarily until the issue of status is resolved. “In return, we want license for mobile and landline phone service in the entire territory of Kosovo,” Ljajic pointed out. He assessed that it was a useful proposal for both sides, primarily from the economic point of view and expressed expectation that there would be a good will to reach an agreement.
