BRUSSELS Serbian negotiators have received guarantees from NATO that the Kosovo Security Forces (KSF) will not be able to "come to northern Kosovo." This area is inhabited by Serbs. The meeting at the NATO HQ in Brussels on Friday afternoon took place in the presence of EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton. KSF "will not be able to go to north" The reports from Brussels specified that the KSF will be able to go to northern Kosovo "only in case of natural disasters, and will require agreement for this from NATO and the local Serb community." NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said that the western military alliance "will do everything in order for the agreement between Belgrade and Pristina to be implemented," and added he hoped it would be reached.
