STRASBOURG EU Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fule says the adoption of his report on Serbia and Kosovo has been postponed because of another round of dialogue. The report was to be presented to members of the European Commission collegium on Tuesday. Dialogue postpones EU commissioner's report The report was discussed but it was not adopted, Fule told a news conference in Strasbourg. The commissioner explained the delay saying the Commission wants any agreement that Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic and Kosovo's Prime Minister Hashim Thaci reach on Wednesday to be included in the final version of the report. The collegium will decide on this issue after an agreement is reached, said Fule, adding he believes there will be an agreement on Wednesday. "It is in the interest of Serbia and Kosovo, and the EU as well," he said. The European Parliament was scheduled to debate Serbia's progress in European integration on Wednesday, but this debate is now also in question after the news that EU foreign affairs chief Catherine Ashton will meet with Dacic and Thaci for another round of talks in Brussels on Wednesday. The upcoming round is Serbia's last chance to meet the European Council's requirements if it wants to get a date for starting accession talks with the EU in June.
