BELGRADE The Serbian government is strongly dedicated to the continuation of the dialogue and will give its opinion tomorrow, Prime Minister Ivica Dacic has stated. He held a press conference after a series of meetings with representatives of political parties on Sunday. “Govt. dedicated to continuation of dialogue” The PM noted that the talks had been useful. “I have informed representatives of parties and whips about the dialogue. They informed us about their views and I am very satisfied with constructive talks,” Dacic said. He noted, however, that every party had its own opinion. “Everybody showed good will and faith that all of us should together participate in the solving of these difficult issues we are facing, not just today but for the past several decades,” the prime minister noted. He added that the Serbian government would continue consultations with representatives of parties and parliamentary groups. Dacic also said that diplomatic talks would continue in the following days. “We believe it is not useful to throw away everything that has been done so far,” he explained and added that even bigger efforts should be made in order to reach sustainable solution. The PM said the government was aware of the responsibility, both when it comes to the EU integration problems and problems in the negotiations with Pristina. He reiterated that the government was “unquestionably“ determined to continue the EU integration. Dacic stressed that next Tuesday was not a D-Day. “Even if we do not get a date (for the start of the EU accession talks), we need to continue solving this issue,” he explained.
