BELGRADE Wide consultations on the EU’s offer on Kosovo have continued. Prime Minister Ivica Dacic met with leaders of political parties on Sunday. The first meeting began at 10:00 CET. Prime Minister Dacic meets with party leaders Deputy PM for European Integration Suzana Grubjesic attended the meeting as well. Parliament Speaker Nebojsa Stefanovic, parliament's Committee on Kosovo Chairman Milovan Drecun, Office for Kosovo Director Aleksandar Vulin, United Serbia (JS) leader Dragan Markovic, Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) whip Branko Ruzic, Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) whip Veroljub Arsic and New Serbia (NS) whip Miroslav Markicevic arrived to the Serbian government headquarters around 9:30 CET. The first meeting was also be attended by SPS deputy leader Zarko Obradovic, United Regions of Serbia (URS) leader Mladjan Dinkic, NS leader Velimir Ilic, Party of United Pensioners of Serbia (PUPS) leader Jovan Krkobabic, Social Democratic Party of Serbia leader Rasim Ljajic and Party of Democratic Action of Sandzak Sulejman Ugljanin. Arsic said that the SNS would announce its decision after the Presidency session on Monday. The PM at 10:30 met with Democratic Party (DS) leader Dragan Djilas and DS whip Borislav Stefanovic. Dacic then met with Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) leader Cedomir Jovanovic and deputy leader Nenad Milic a little after noon. Jovanovic said he advocated an agreement with Pristina because it would secure permanent peace in the region. Half an hour later, he conferred with Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) leader Vojislav Kostunica and advisor Aleksandar Nikitovic. Kostunica said after the meeting that the Brussels’ proposal needed to be rejected and that the negotiations should be returned under the UN auspices. The PM then met with Together for Serbia parliamentary group leader Dusan Petrovic and then with Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians (SVM) leader Istvan Pastor and SVM whip Balint Pastor. The meeting with League of Social Democrats of Vojvodina (LSV) leader Nenad Canak and whip Bojan Kostres was held soon after. Dacic also met with Serbian Renewal Movement (SPO) leader Vuk Draskovic. After the meetings, the prime minister held a press conference and said that the top state officials were dedicated to the dialogue and determined to reach a sustainable solution for Kosovo A Republic of Srpska (RS) delegation, which will include President Milorad Dodik and PM Zeljka Cvijanovic and assembly Speaker Igor Radojcic, will discuss the Kosovo issue with the Serbian top officials.
