At the start of the session, Vasic called on Kosovska Mitrovica, Leposavic, Zvecan and Zubin Potok councilors to support Belgrade’s negotiating team for their conduct at Tuesday’s meeting. He added that the everybody in the north had carefully followed the events in Brussels and that “every day in the past 14 years has been a D Day for the citizens of this part of the province”. Vasic therefore called on all citizens to be alert and on the international community to protect the citizens in northern Kosovo.
