BELGRADE EU Integration Office Director Milan Pajevic says the most important thing is that Serbia is doing everything to fulfill its obligations on the EU pathway. He assessed that it was completely pointless to speculate about a date for the beginning of the EU accession talks and various scenarios. “We expect decision on EU talks date to be made soon” “The most important thing is that Serbia is doing everything to fulfill its obligations and what is even more important, that it is intensively working on internal reforms in cooperation with the EU and all those reforms are in the interest of our entire society,” he told Tanjug. Pajevic added that Serbia expected a formal decision on a date for the start of the accession negotiations as soon as possible. “Even if it does not happen in June, we will continue to prepare ourselves for the start and the negotiating process on a working-technical level, just like we will continue further harmonization of our legislation with the European one,” he explained.
