Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dačić and his former Chief of Staff Branko Lazarević will not be questioned about their ties with a drug gang member.

BELGRADE Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic and his former Chief of Staff Branko Lazarevic will not be questioned about their ties with a drug gang member. This is according to Belgrade-based daily Blic. “Dacic won’t be questioned over contacts with gang member” The daily writes that despite announcements Dacic and Lazarevic will not be questioned, at least not in the first phase of the investigation. The Criminal Investigations Police Administration has launched the investigation at the Organized Prosecution’s request. The request was sent in early February after media reported that Dacic and Lazarevic had had contacts with Rodoljub Radulovic, a member of runway drug lord Darko Saric’s gang. The prime minister admitted he had met with Radulovic but stressed he had not known at the time that he was a criminal.
