Former DS MPs set up new group in parliament

A new MP club, "'Together for Serbia", has been set up in the Serbian parliament and it gathers six former members of the opposition Democratic Party (DS).

BELGRADE A new MP club, "'Together for Serbia", has been set up in the Serbian parliament and it gathers six former members of the opposition Democratic Party (DS). Former cabinet minister Dusan Petrovic told Tanjug on Monday that he would be the president of the new MP club while his deputy would be Sanja Cekovic. According to the book of regulations of the parliament, the MP group was set up after the signed list of members is filed to the parliament speaker. Petrovic was recently expelled from the party because he refused to resign as MP after the new party leadership demanded that all former ministers from the ranks of the DS do so.
