BERLIN First Deputy PM Aleksandar Vucic says that PM Ivica Dacic is "completely sufficient" when it comes to the political dialogue on Kosovo, held in Brussels. Vucic, who also heads the ruling Serb Progressives (SNS), added that his role at the helm of the country's biggest party meant that he would "naturally" make decisions on key issues. Berlin wants his greater role, but Vucic says PM will do When asked if he was ready to get involved in the dialogue himself and whether German officials demanded this of him, Vucic said that "for any decision made the SNS will undoubtedly take most credit, be most guilty, and most responsible". “Without any doubt whatsoever, I can say that the greatest part of the responsibility for moves made by our country is falling on our party, which I believe our German hosts know very well, and I am aware that ultimate responsibility rests with me,” Vucic, who was on a visit to Berlin, stressed. Asked if he will “reinforce” Serbia's team in the political dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina ahead of the next round of talks in Brussels on March 4, Vucic stated that "the plan and the decisions that are going to be made are much more important". Vucicadded he believed that the Prime Minister Ivica Dacic's participation “will be completely sufficient,” but said he "did not wish to say whether the PM will be the one to receive blame for any decision". According to the Friday edition of the Belgrade-based daily Politika, German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle told Vucic during a meeting they had behind closed doors that Germany "insists on his becoming more directly involved in the process aimed at resolving the Kosovo issue". Other German officials also informed Vucic that they expect him to be more engaged in the search for a solution for the Kosovo issue, the daily reports, quoting sources from Berlin.
