WASHINGTON The U.S. gives its full support to Serbia's European path, U.S. congressmen told Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic on Wednesday. The prime minister said that the aim of the meeting with the congressmen was to inform them about the Serbian government's political platform and priorities, particularly in the area of European integration and efforts to find a just solution to the problems in Kosovo. “The Serbian government is doing everything to ensure a better life for its citizens, attract foreign investment and establish better relations in the region,” said Dacic. “The U.S. has pledged its full support to Serbia in its European integration process. I also believe that after these discussions, U.S. investment in Serbia will increase,” said the Serbian prime minister, who will also meet with the directors of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). Besides having a series of meetings with officials of the U.S. administration and security sector, the Serbian prime minister will attend the 2013 National Prayer Breakfast, where U.S. President Barack Obama will be a special guest speaker. The National Prayer Breakfast is hosted by members of the United States Congress and is organized on their behalf by The Fellowship Foundation, a conservative Christian organization.
