BRUSSELS EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton is working on organizing the first meeting between Tomislav Nikolic and Atifete Jahjaga, Tanjug is reporting. The meeting between the Serbian president, and the president of Kosovo, will be held in Brussels, the news agency said it had learned from a European Commission source. "Ashton preparing Nikolic-Jahjaga meeting" "The goal is to establish contact at the presidential level in order to solidify and intensify the ongoing talks between the two prime ministers and at the expert level," an EC official who insisted on staying anonymous told Tanjug on Monday. He could not specify the date and agenda for the meeting, other than to say it was planned for the first half of February. Maja Kocijancic, spokeswoman for the high representative, did not want to confirm or deny the information. "All I can say is that we welcome and are ready to support all initiatives contributing to normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina," Kocijancic told Tanjug. Tanjug
