BRUSSELS Defense ministers of the NATO member states agreed in Brussels on Thursday that progress in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue "gives grounds for optimism". They also "pledged further work on establishing a safe environment for all citizens of Kosovo". NATO "satisfied" with Belgrade-Pristina dialogue "Tangible progress in the dialogue and implementation of the agreement on integrated management of crossings give grounds for optimism," Chairman of NATO Military Committee General Knud Bartels said at a press conference after a two-day meeting of the NATO Ministerial Council. He underscored that KFOR will continue to conduct its mission in Kosovo, as has so far been the case, dismissing speculation about the withdrawal of a part of the military contingent.
