BELGRADE Slovak Deputy Prime Minister Miroslav Lajcak says that European Council’s conclusions give a clear chance to Serbia to start accession talks in 2013. "The crucial expectation refers to the Serbian government's perseverance on the current track regarding internal reforms and the dialogue with Pristina,” he told Belgrade-based daily Danas, commenting on the decision of the EU foreign ministers to recommend the possible opening of the accession talks with Serbia in the period from January 1 to July 1, 2013. “European Council gives chance to Serbia” Lajcak, who is also a foreign and European affairs minister, said that at the ministerial meeting in Brussels that Slovakia had taken a stand that everyone should get what they deserved. “I am glad that this principle that we advocated has been included in the Council's conclusions,” he noted.
