NICOSIA As part of his official visit to Cyprus, Serbian Prime Minister and Interior Minister Ivica Dacic toured Serbian Stefan Nemanja base on Saturday. A Serbian contingent to the UN Mission in Cyprus is stationed in the base. Prime minister visits Serbian troops in Cyprus The contingent comprises members of the Serbian Army (VS) and the police (MUP), Tanjug has learnt at the Interior Ministry. The UN mission in Cyprus was established on March 27, 1964 by UN Resolution 186, in the interest of preventing a recurrence of conflicts between Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot communities on the island.
