Deputy PM to attend UNSC session on Hague Tribunal
The UN Security Council will today debate reports on the Hague Tribunal and Serbian Deputy PM Aleksandar Vučić will attend the session.

BELGRADE The UN Security Council will today debate reports on the Hague Tribunal and Serbian Deputy PM Aleksandar Vucic will attend the session. Hague Tribunal Chief Prosecutor Serge Brammertz and Hague Tribunal President Theodor Meron will submit reports on cooperation of Serbia and other countries of the former Yugoslavia with the Tribunal. Deputy PM to attend UNSC session on Hague Tribunal Vucic will present the Serbian government’s opinion about the reports. Vucic, who is also a defense minister, will today start a visit to the U.S. that will last until December 11. On November 16 the Hague Tribunal acquitted Croat Generals Ante Gotovina and Mladen Markac of charges for crimes against Serb civilians during and after the Operation Storm in the summer of 1995. The Hague Tribunal on November 29 acquitted former commander of the so-called Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) Ramush Haradinaj and his associates Idriz Balaj and Lahi Brahimaj of all charges for crimes against Serbs in KLA’s detention camp in the village of Jablanica in 1998.
