MPs discuss amendments to draft 2013 budget

BELGRADE The Serbian parliament on Thursday started a debate on 120 amendments to the draft budget for 2013 that envisages a deficit of RSD 121.9bn. MPs will ask questions to members of the cabinet during the afternoon part of the session. The minister explained that the budget deficit in 2013 would be RSD 121.9bn, bearing in mind that the total revenue will be RSD 965.7bn and expenditures RSD 1.087bn. “This is a reduction by more than RSD 80bn compared to the planned deficit of the republic budget in 2012,” Dinkic pointed out. The ruling parties have announced they will support the draft, while Democratic Party (DS), Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) and League of Social-Democrats of Vojvodina (LSV) say they will vote against the draft. The minister explained that the budget deficit in 2013 would be RSD 121.9bn, bearing in mind that the total revenue will be RSD 965.7bn and expenditures RSD 1.087bn.
