Government appoints MUP state secretaries
The Serbian government has appointed three officials as new state secretaries with the Ministry of the Interior and Police (MUP), it has been announced.

BELGRADE The Serbian government has appointed three officials as new state secretaries with the Ministry of the Interior and Police (MUP), it has been announced. They are Vladimir Bozovic, Milorad Miljkovic, and Vanja Vukic. Government appoints MUP state secretaries Bozovic is a member of the Serb Progressive Party (SNS), while Miljkovic and Vukic come from the United Regions of Serbia (URS) and the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS), respectively. It took one hundred days since the government was sworn in for these state secretaries to be appointed. Bozovic previously held a role at the MUP when he served as general inspector during the government led by Vojislav Kostunica. Miljkovic served in the previous government as state secretary with the Ministry of Infrastructure, in charge of air traffic. Vukic is described as a man who enjoys "great trust" of PM and Interior Minister Ivica Dacic.
