He added that it would be wise to accept the status-neutral part of the Ahtisaari plan. “It offers protection to Serbs, churches, monasteries, special ties of the Serb municipalities with the state of Serbia… It guarantees that every monastery is the property of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC).
