BELGRADE Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic and Vojvodina Executive Council President Bojan Pajtic met on Saturday afternoon in Belgrade. They are discussing ways to solve problems caused by the Constitutional Court of Serbia’s decision to declare some parts of the Law on Vojvodina’s Authority unconstitutional. PM, Vojvodina Executive Council head confer in Belgrade Vojvodina Executive Council claims that certain regulations of the Law on Budget of the Republic of Serbia that refer to Vojvodina’s financing are unconstitutional, Dacic’s office has released. Dacic and Pajtic will hold a press conference after the meeting. Pajtic and Finance and Economy Minister Mladjan Dinkic conferred on the matter on October 4 in Novi Sad and agreed that problems and misunderstandings would be resolved through adoption of the Law on Financing of Vojvodina. Pajtic said after the meeting with the finance minister that the law would “finally define Vojvodina’s sources of income which will prevent all possible misunderstandings in the future”.
